It's been months since my last update.  It seems as though that last post was both years and a blink of an eye ago.  I got to work this morning and had about 7 people stop me and ask if it is really as cold as they heard it was in Minnesota.  They couldn't comprehend how anyone could live like that.  I can't say I missed the weather this past weekend as I thought of loading and unloading for the first weekend of drumline shows in -18 degree weather.  I was walking my dog in a t-shirt and sandals in the sun :)

Other than the beautiful weather, life is absolutely crazy here.  Ben went back to school a few weeks ago and there was no "easing back in."  We did manage to make it back to Minnesota for Christmas, but that 10 days was insane.  We tried to be everywhere at once and make everyone happy and I'm certain we only disappointed everyone and overwhelmed ourselves.  It was good to be home and see everyone though.  Life gets a little lonely down here.

We have experienced the wonders of SEC football (including the Sugar Bowl in the Super Dome!), cajun dancing, and crawfish.  We have not yet developed a southern drawl, despite the tempting nature of "alls y'alls" and "we might could."

School has not gotten a bit easier for me.  The public schools in Louisiana are quite possibly the worst thing you could imagine.  For those of you in Minnesota, never take your public schools for granted!  It's a challenge to get up every day.  I've decided to write a book when I'm done.  I'm currently compiling stories you wouldn't believe if anyone's interested.

Hope everyone is well.  Feel free to call or write me a note anytime!

Finally found a little time to get some pictures on the computer.  Here is a link to an album with our French honeymoon pictures:

Also - here are a few pictures of the band from LSU.  People are crazy for college football and crazy for college marching band down here.  LSU and the games are great - the rest of life isn't getting any easier.  LSU2Wow

Professional pictures are finally done!  Go to www.noahwolf.com and click on "View Online Weddings".  Type in Chamberlain.  The first group you see is preparation - you have to go to "Categories" on top to see other parts of the day.  For those of you planning wedding - Noah Wolf is absolutely amazing!  Also, these pictures show many other great parts of the day!

What a day...  They are going to eat me alive.  It's sure not like Minnesota down here...!
